Wtedy dodaje sie kwebracho, po¬ zwala sie temperaturze obnizyc do 60°C i dodaje sie mirobolany; w chwili gdy mie¬ szanina obu tych cial stala sie jednorodna, dodaje sie dwuweglanu sodowego i fluorku sodowego.Srodek niniejszy mozna otrzymywac w stanie cieklym lub stalym. Wykazuje on te zalete, ze nie dziala na metale, zelazo, miedz i t. d. Nie rozpuszcza on kamienia kotlowego, lecz pozbawia go zdolnosci przylegania do powierzchni metalowych.Sposób uzycia tego srodka jest naste¬ pujacy.Do kadzi z woda przeznaczona do zasi¬ lania kotla wklada sie zadana ilosc sród-ka, wystarczajaca na tydzien az do miesia¬ ca, zaleznie od objetosci kadzi.* DawLa wynosi <§wierc litra (w irazie u- Zycie srodka w* stanie plynnym) na tonne odparowywanej wody, przy wodzie o twardosci od 12 do 17°.
