UP PRL naklad 120+18 Cena 45 zl PLThe subject of the invention is a system for measuring the electromagnetic wave absorption coefficient, especially by building materials. Known systems for this purpose have included a source of electromagnetic waves, usually a VHF transmitter, and a receiver located behind the building material. The measurement performed in an open system is burdened with a large error caused by the influence of external electromagnetic fields of the natural and artificial type. The essence of the invention consists in the fact that the system is equipped with a directional transmitting antenna surrounded by a suitably shaped test material and a directional receiving antenna placed outside the test material and an additional a screen protecting the tested material and the antenna system to eliminate the influence of external interference factors, the directional transmitting antenna is connected by a waveguide with a stabilized frequency tuned generator through an attenuator and a pass-through system of the transmitting path, while the directional receiving antenna is connected by waveform throughput of the receiving track and the electromagnetic wave receiver, the output of which is connected to the reading and recording unit. According to the invention, the directional receiving antenna is located in the region of the maximum power of the radiation pattern of the directional transmitting antenna. Such a system allows for a significant reduction in the level of interference. The subject of the invention is shown in the example of its embodiment in the drawing, which shows a block diagram of the system. The directional transmitting antenna 1 is interchangeable depending on the frequency at which the measurement is carried out, connected by a waveguide 2 with a stabilized generator 3 of tunable frequency through the muffler 4 and the transfer system 5 of the transmission path. The attenuator 4, which suppresses undesirable frequencies, influences the matching of the wave impedance of the transmitting path, while the pass-through system 5 eliminates the influence of external interfering fields, as well as the back-radiation of the transmitting antenna 1. Directional transmitting antenna 1 emitting energy in one direction is inside a specially formed tested building material 6. A part of the energy that was not absorbed by the test material 6 falls on the directional receiving antenna 7, which is located in the area of the maximum power of the transmitting antenna 1. For more accurate isolation from the influence of external factors, the system antennas 1, 7 together with the tested material 6 are surrounded by an additional 'screen 8. The directional receiving antenna 7 is connected by a waveguide 9 through the throughput system 10 of the receiving path with the electromagnetic wave receiver 11 being an electromagnetic wave power meter, which is read and recorded by an electronic recording system12, calibrated in units determining the coefficient of electromagnetic wave absorption. 3 U3 405 4 Claims 1.
