Z.P. Dz-wo, z. 798 (95+15) 3.8: Cena 45 zl PL PL The subject of the invention is a latching mechanism for vehicle doors, comprising a mounting element, a rotator mounted on it, locking it in place with respect to the closing bolt, and a ratchet wheel mounted rotatably together with the rotator. A ratchet lever is rotatably mounted on the mounting element, which interacts with the ratchet wheel to secure its rotation and release of the closing pin. The latching mechanism is known from the Italian patent description No. 841,599. The rotator and the ratchet lever are mounted on a flat plate constituting part of the mounting element, which is attached to the side wall of the vehicle door. The ratchet lever is connected to a flat plate, but when a test load is applied to the latch mechanism, there is a tendency for the plate to bend slightly but noticeably, causing the ratchet lever and ratchet wheel to unlatch and the door to open unintentionally. Theoretically, this bending can be prevented by the use of mounting screws located around the pivot pin of the ratchet lever or by locating the pivot of the ratchet lever in such a way that the force with which the ratchet wheel acts on the lever is transferred to at least one mounting screw. However, in practice, the flat plate must have as small dimensions as possible to be mounted on the door, and the design of the latching mechanism must meet the requirements of the car manufacturer, which prevents convenient positioning of the ratchet lever pin. Thus, in the case of a rear door, the pivot of the latch lever must be placed very close to the edge of the flat plate and the force causing high bending stresses in the flat plate. This bending can also be prevented by increasing the thickness of the plate and embossing ribs on it, but this solution is quite expensive. There is also a known vehicle door latching mechanism in which the mounting element includes a flat plate on which the rotator and a ratchet lever, a locking element for locking the rotator in the closed position and a rod running parallel to the plane of the plate with the possibility of limited angular rotation around its axis, which moves the locking element. This is a typical solution for the latching mechanism of a vehicle's front door, with the rod connected by a handle activated from the outside. According to the solution according to the Italian patent description No. 841599, the rod can be mounted rotatably using two parallel, spaced joints bent from a flat plate and equipped with plastic sleeves that eliminate play. The Italian patent no. 925,934 describes another solution, according to which the rod is placed in a channel running in a plastic shape. 111833 -7 i411£S3 s Figures 8 and 9 show a second important advantage of the channel 42. The protrusion 47 formed in the plate 2* with the embossing of the channel 42 serves as a spacer protecting against damage to the latching mechanism by the pro channel ¬ guiding 48 the roll-down window 49. By design, the guide channel is placed at a distance of 2 to 3 mm from the projection 47, but manufacturing tolerances or unintentional movement may cause this channel to touch the projection 47. The described embodiments can be significantly modified and will be still fall within the scope of the invention. For example, the journal may have a head strengthened by extending it in the axial direction, as shown in Fig. 5 by dashed lines. Otherwise, the middle part 44 of the channel 42 does not touch the rod 41, it can be cut out in the pressing process and leave a free hole. In yet another case, in the second embodiment, mounting eyes and plastic sleeves known from Italian patent description No. 841,599 may be used instead of the channel 42 and the spring 43 for mounting the rod 41. In yet another case, the spring 31 or 31' may be and a covered plastic tube. in order to eliminate the clearance conducive to breaking out the channel. patent 1.
