Abstract
A reinforced lightweight concrete block which includes a substantially rectangular-like shaped body of predetermined length having integrated top, bottom, front, rear, and opposed left and right side faces; alignment members are centrally provided on said top and bottom faces, respectively for aligning said body with the other configured similar blocks in vertical direction, said alignment members are defined by a tongue and groove which join cooperatively in matting manner respectively; opposed holes provided on top of said tongue member that passes vertically there through said body in proper alignment with said groove member for receiving therein poured concrete mortar and rebars for creating a column integrated into said configured similar blocks; and opposed markers placed at the midpoint of the entire length of said body for cutting it as desired and further guides the installer in laying pout the blocks vertically. The front and rear faces having textured surfaces defined by a plurality of spacedly disposed lined marks that allows its easy bonding with regular mortar not found in conventional hollow blocks.
