Abstract

The utility model disclosed the process of producing purple sweet potato muffins as a nutritious and cheaper snack item for human consumption. The process of producing purple sweet potato muffins comprises the following steps: preparing the ingredients such as of all-purpose flour, purple sweet potato flour, evaporated milk, butter, sugar, baking powder and egg; sifting the dry ingredients together; combining the moist ingredients together in a separate bowl; stirring the sifted dry ingredient and combined moist ingredients together with only a few strokes until the dry ingredients are just moistened but still lumpy; pouring the batter mixture into a greased muffin pan lined with muffin paper cups; baking the poured batter for about 15 minutes at 1900C; cooling the baked muffins at room temperature; and removing the cooled muffins from the pan as finished product.
