The present utility model discloses the process of making handmade paper from blends of seaweeds (Sargassum spp.), paper scraps and water. It is comprised of the steps of cleaning and washing the dried seaweeds (Sargassum spp.), re-drying, shredding of paper scraps, pulverizing of dried seaweeds, cooking of the mixture, blending, pouring into molders, drying, removing from the molders and designing. The developed product could be used in making paper- bags, novelty paper, gift wrappers, certificates and other purposes for its good quality. It was also found to be highly acceptable.
