Abstract
The present utility model is a bio-briquette composition which comprised of hog manure, used papers, rice hull and coconut residue. The process of producing the briquette of the present utility model starts with collection of hog manure and coconut residues then sundried. The dried hog manure was pulverized and the rice husks were collected and dried. Used papers were gathered, torn into smaller pieces and soaked into water for three days. Tap water was added to the mixture until a homogenous mixture is produced. The homogenous mixtures were placed into the briquette moulders to form the briquette. The briquettes were pressed then removed from the moulder and were exposed under the sun until totally dried. The heating value of the present utility model is from 4,900-5,300 BTU/lb. and the moisture content is 10.3-10.4 pcnt which are within the optimum moisture content range of solid fuels.
