The process of producing lightweight pavement blocks comprising the following steps: (a) collecting styrofoam/polystyrene foam wastes; (b) crushing the collected styrofoam/polystyrene foam wastes; (c) mixing the crushed styrofoam/polystyrene foam waste with cement and sand; (d) adding water to component to the mixture in step (c); (e) molding the mixed materials in step (d); (f) de-molding the molded mixed materials; and (g) curing the demolded mixed material for 28 days.
