Abstract

The purpose of the present invention is to detect that rapid combustion has occurred or that rapid combustion will occur immediately, and to inject a fire extinguishant at an appropriate position and timing. This crusher comprises: a first pressure detector that is installed near a crushing section (1A) and detects the pressure of the interior of a housing (31); a second pressure detector that is installed near a classification section (1B) and detects the pressure of the interior of the housing (31); a fire extinguishant injector (51) that is installed near the crushing section (1A) and injects a fire extinguishant into the crushing section when, on the basis of the pressure detected by the first pressure detector or the second pressure detector, it is determined that rapid fuel combustion has occurred or that rapid combustion will occur immediately; and a fire extinguishant injector (52) that is installed near the classification section (1B) and injects a fire extinguishant into the classification section (1B) when, on the basis of the pressure detected by the first pressure detector or the second pressure detector, it is determined that rapid fuel combustion has occurred or that rapid combustion will occur immediately.
