Abstract

The present invention relates to a luminaire adapter and a luminaire. The present invention can improve insertability when inserting the luminaire adapter into a ceiling-mounted hooking socket. The luminaire adapter includes: a housing including a first surface on one side and a second surface on an opposite side, the first surface configured to face the ceiling-mounted hooking socket; a first terminal; a second terminal; and a third terminal. The first terminal, the second terminal, and the third terminal respectively include, at respective first end portions thereof, a first protruding part, a second protruding part, and a third protruding part that protrude from a terminal insertion hole provided on the first surface side of the housing. The third protruding part has an axial length that is longer than an axial length of each of the first protruding part and the second protruding part.
