Abstract

The present invention is a method for producing sintering feedstock for producing sintered ore, and is characterized by using a carbon material having a volatile matter content of 10 mass pcnt or less as a carbon material in a method for producing a sintering feedstock that contains the carbon material, and adding the carbon material during or after granulation of the sintering feedstock excluding the carbon material. As a result, even in cases where coal char obtained by pyrolysis of brown coal or the like is used as the carbon material, it is possible to obtain a sintering feedstock in which the particle size of granulated particles can be increased and the combustibility of the carbon material can be improved and also possible to increase the combustion yield and production rate of a sintered ore by producing a sintered ore using the obtained sintering feedstock.
