Abstract

A vehicle front structure, including: a front bumper cross member 4 including a front bumper; an energy-absorbing member 5 which is fixed to a front surface of the front bumper cross member 4 and which has a polygonal closed section shape which collapses when a head-on collision of a vehicle occurs; a female screw member 43 which is provided in a front surface section of the front bumper cross member 4, to which a bolt 53 penetrating the energy-absorbing member 5 is screwed, and which fixes the energy-absorbing member 5 to the front bumper cross member 4; a protrusion 51a2 which is formed so as to protrude by an amount larger than a height of a head 53a of the bolt 53 from a front bumper cross member 4-side surface for mounting the energy-absorbing member 5 toward the side of the front bumper cross member 4, and in which the head 53a of the bolt 53 is housed; and a recess 41a1 which is formed on a front surface side of the front bumper cross member 4 and which houses the protrusion 51a2.
