Abstract
[TASK] It is to propose an apparatus for granulating quasi-particles of uniform size while preventing formation of coarse granulated particles with irregular particle size and weak bonding strength in the granulation. [SOLUTION] An apparatus comprises an agitating-loosening machine for uniformly dispersing fine-powdery iron ores in the raw compounding material for sinter to be treated and water; a first measuring instrument for sampling the raw compounding material for sinter after the agitating-loosening treatment to determine particle size distribution and water content distribution; a granulating machine for agitating and mixing the raw compounding material for sinter after the agitating-loosening treatment under an addition of water to perform granulation; and a second measuring instrument for sampling the raw granulated material for sinter after the granulation to determine particle size distribution and water content distribution, wherein agitating conditions of the agitating-loosening machine, the presence or absence of water added to the agitating-loosening machine and the value of water content added in the granulating machine are controlled based on the particle size distribution and water content distribution determined in the first measuring instrument and the particle size distribution and water content distribution determined in the second measuring instrument.
