Abstract

The present invention relates to a custom cremation urn having an urn body having a configuration that is a replica of the deceased person in which the ashes is contained therein, and information system integrated to said urn which includes a micro-processing unit and a holographic projector.

The present invention relates generally to ash container and more specifically to = a custom cremation urn for ashes of dead love ones. ~
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION o
Ordinary urn for ashes of the dead is in the form of a base or some other Oo ordinary container, which is usually being placed in a decorative place where it can _ assume as adornment which the living can use as symbol for remembering the 5 memories of their love one. This urn is usually carried by the relative of the dead during fe] travel. While the aforesaid urn appears useful in its function as container of ashes, o however, the sense of remembrance for the dead love one is not that strong or symbolic enough to create a sense of total contentment. Furthermore, ordinary urn is just a vase or container and is not capable of tuming back memories of the dead love one by way of music, video or memorable pictures.
The present invention as herein disclosed is particularly concerned with a custom cremation urn wherein commemorative information regarding the dead person is integrated in an um having configuration depicting the dead person. The exact replica of the face or whole body of the dead person was made so that he or she can always be a remembered in such a way that the image provides a striking effect to the mind of the relative/s watching it. It can serve as adornment which provides a strong memorable sensation to the members of the family who are watching it. Furthermore, the present um includes a system containing a microprocessor unit containing commemorative information about the deceased person. Said system further includes a micro processing unit for displaying the holographic image of the deceased which can be projected in 2D or 3D format to a portable screen. Sound is also included in the system to further heighten the sensation. Audible information can also be conveyed through sound file provided in the micro processing unit and unto a speaker disposed in the base of the urn. Memory slots is also included in the system and in a memory panel provided in the umn so that other information contained in an information device, such as external hard drive or USB can be inserted thereof for uploading or downloading the images contained in the memory card provided in the system.
The information afforded by the present invention can convey meaningful memory of the dead loved one to the comfort and solace of the bereaved.

Referring to the drawings, there is shown a custom cremation urn generally 5 designated as 10 comprising a hollow pre-shaped urn body 11 being made such Lr that ashes of a dead person can be contained therein. Said um body being made in a manner wherein it may assume a configuration depicting the head or whole body of the dead person whose ashes is contained therein. Said um body 11 being provided with a cover member 12 and a base member 13 being integrated thereof. An information system 14 provided in said base member 13, which includes a micro processing unit 15 and holographic projector 16. Said micro processing unit 15 being made such that it is capable of storing thereof the memories of the deceased, such as pictures, video, or music in digital form. At least a memory slot is provided on said base member being in communication with said micro processing unit. Said memory slot being made such that suitable external hard drive or USB can be connected thereto to download or upload the memorable information of the deceased person. The information system can be powered by suitable power source such as batteries or through a solar system that may be integrated thereof.

Claims (4)

  1. v I claim: o 1, A custom cremation urn comprising: A hollow um body, being made such that it is capable of accommodating = therein ashes of a deceased person, said urn body having a configuration that is © a replica of the deceased person whose ashes is contained therein, an - information system, being integrated-in said urn that includes a micro processing unit and a holographic projector, said micro processing unit being made such that it is capable of storing information of the memories of the deceased person such as pictures or video in digital form, and said holographic projector being ‘capable of projecting holographic image of the deceased, and at least a memory stot in communication with said micro-processing unit wherein suitable electronic devices, such as USB and external hard drive, can be connected thereof for uploading or downloading the information regarding the deceased.
  2. 2. A custom cremation urn according to claim 1 wherein said information system being powered by suitable power means such as batteries and solar system.
  3. 3. A custom cremation urn according to claim 1 wherein a cover member is provided on said urn body.
  4. 4. A custom cremation urn according to all preceding claims wherein a base member is integrated in said um body wherein said information system being disposed therein.
