Abstract
Los sistemas y metodos descritos definen aplicaciones en cualquier entorno en el que un usuario desee determinar el desgaste de una pieza de desgaste; mediante el uso de un proceso para capturar una representacion digital de la pieza de desgaste y la determinacion de ciertas dimensiones de la pieza a partir de la representacion digital, los sistemas y/o metodos divulgados permiten que un usuario evalue facilmente el desgaste de la pieza sin tener un conocimiento detallado sobre la pieza o sus caracteristicas de desgaste.
