Abstract
Los sistemas y métodos descritos definen aplicaciones en cualquier entorno en el que un usuario desea determinar el desgaste de una pieza de desgaste. Mediante el uso de un proceso para capturar una representación digital de la pieza de desgaste y determinar ciertas dimensiones de la pieza a partir de la representación digital, los sistemas y/o métodos descritos permiten que un usuario evalúe fácilmente la pieza para detectar desgaste sin tener conocimiento detallado sobre la pieza o sus características de desgaste.
