Abstract
La invencion se refiere a un sistema y a un metodo de combustion de combustibles solidos, que utilizan un medio poroso inerte en el proceso de combustion. El sistema comprende: un hogar de combustion que contiene combustible solido en su interior, el combustible solido es sometido a un proceso de combustion al interior del hogar, generando gases de combustion, un medio poroso inerte dispuesto al interior del hogar de combustion, el medio poroso inerte esta en la cercania del combustible solido, y medios de control de flujo dispuestos en el hogar de combustion. Los medios de control de flujo se disponen para controlar la operacion de: al menos una entrada de aire en el hogar de combustion, para inyectar aire de admision hacia el interior del hogar de combustion; y al menos una salida de gases de escape en el hogar de combustion, para liberar gases de escape hacia el exterior del hogar de combustion. Los medios de control de flujo generan un flujo de aire de admision y gases de combustion entre la al menos una entrada de aire y la al menos una salida de gases de escape, formandose una premezcla de aire de admision y gases de combustion al interior del hogar. Los medios de control de flujo y el medio poroso inerte hacen circular la premezcla a traves del medio poroso inerte, en particular, a traves de los poros del medio poroso inerte, provocando el precalentamiento del aire de admision y la aceleracion de la reaccion de los gases de combustion dentro de los poros, combustionando la premezcla al interior de los poros del medio poroso inerte.The invention relates to a system and method for combustion of solid fuels, which use an inert porous medium in the combustion process. The flow control means generate a flow of intake air and combustion gases between the at least one air inlet and the at least one exhaust gas outlet, forming a premix of intake air and combustion gases inside the home. The flow control means and the inert porous medium circulate the premix through the inert porous medium, in particular, through the pores of the inert porous medium, causing the preheating of the intake air and the acceleration of the reaction of the combustion gases inside the pores, combusting the premix inside the pores of the inert porous medium.
