Abstract

En la presente se divulga, en un aspecto, un sistema para determinar la profundidad dentro de un pozo. El sistema puede comprender un dispositivo en el fondo del pozo, que comprende al menos un sensor de inercia, al menos un procesador, y una memoria en comunicacion con al menos un procesador. La memoria puede comprender instrucciones que, cuando se ejecutan, causan que el procesador: reciba datos de al menos un sensor de inercia y almacene los datos de al menos un sensor de inercia en la memoria con valores de tiempo correlacionados respectivos. El sistema puede comprender ademas un equipo de perforacion que comprende al menos un dispositivo de medicion de profundidad. El al menos un dispositivo de medicion de profundidad puede comprender un sensor de posicion de la sarta de perforacion que esta configurado para producir una indicacion de medicion de una duracion de una parte de una sarta de perforacion eliminada de un pozo o un sensor de cable electrico que esta configurado para determinar una longitud del cable electrico desplegado.
