Abstract

En la presente se divulga, en un aspecto, un sistema para determinar la profundidad dentro de un pozo. El sistema puede comprender un dispositivo en el fondo del pozo, que comprende al menos un sensor de inercia, al menos un procesador, y una memoria en comunicación con al menos un procesador. La memoria puede comprender instrucciones que, cuando se ejecutan, causan que el procesador: reciba datos de al menos un sensor de inercia y almacene los datos de al menos un sensor de inercia en la memoria con valores de tiempo correlacionados respectivos. El sistema puede comprender además un equipo de perforación que comprende al menos un dispositivo de medición de profundidad. El al menos un dispositivo de medición de profundidad puede comprender un sensor de posición de la sarta de perforación que está configurado para producir una indicación de medición de una duración de una parte de una sarta de perforación eliminada de un pozo o un sensor de cable eléctrico que está configurado para determinar una longitud del cable eléctrico desplegado.
