Abstract

The invention refers to a neoprene-based swimsuit with the incorporation of LED spotlights that light up on contact with seawater. This system incorporated in the wetsuit does not require portable batteries or external chargers, since it uses a chemical reaction through the presence of electrodes and electrolyte for its operation. The invention uses two electrodes that are electrically conductive to make contact with seawater to generate energy. An amplifier card is used that fulfills the function of increasing the voltage necessary to be able to turn on the led spotlight. This lighting system is placed in a mesh pocket with velcro around it to facilitate the entry of seawater and the change of the circuit once the electrodes have oxidized.
