Abstract

Conector de tubos comprende una primera seccion de tubo (2) que tiene un primer extremo (2a) y tiene dientes (17) formados en su superficie exterior proximos al primer extremo (2a) pero separados axialmente de este. Una segunda seccion de tubo (3) tiene un segundo extremo (3) que, en el uso, va a ser conectada al primer extremo (2a) de la primera seccion de tubo (2). Un casquillo (8) esta montado en forma deslizable en la superficie exterior de la segunda seccion de tubo para moverse entre una primera posicion extendida , en la cual un extremo delantero (8a) del casquillo (8) se proyecta mas alla del segundo extremo (3) de la segunda seccion de tubo para que, en el uso , se traslape al primer extremo (2a) de la primera seccion de tubo (2) cuando es hecho topar con el segundo extremo (3) de la segunda seccion de tubo, y una segunda posicion retraida en la cual dicho extremo delantero es retirado para estar lineado por lo menos con el segundo extremo (3) de la segunda seccion de tubo, teniendo el casquillo (8) dientes (13) formados en su superficie exterior por lo menos en la region del extremo delantero (8a). Se provee un tope (9) en la segunda seccion de tubo y el casquillo (8) para impedir el movimiento axial del casquillo (8) mas alla de la posicion extendida. Se provee tambien un aro de seguridad (16) con dientes (15) formados en su superficie interior cilindrica que estan dimensionados para acoplarse a los dientes (17) de la primera seccion de tubo (2) y a losTube connector comprises a first tube section (2) having a first end (2a) and having teeth (17) formed on its outer surface close to the first end (2a) but axially spaced therefrom.
