Abstract

Referida a metodo y aparato para licuar una corriente de alimentacion de gas natural y retirar nitrogeno de la misma para obtener un producto de GNL con bajo contenido de nitrogeno, en el cual se introduce una corriente de alimentacion de gas natural en el extremo tibio del intercambiador termico principal, enfriado y como minimo parcialmente licuado, retirado de una ubicacion intermedia del intercambiador termico principal y separado para formar una corriente de vapor de gas natural enriquecido y una corriente liquida de gas natural con bajo contenido de nitrogeno, las corrientes liquida y de vapor vuelven a introducirse en una ubicacion intermedia del intercambiador termico principal y se enfrian adicionalmente en paralelo para formar una primera corriente de GNL y una primera corriente de gas natural enriquecido con nitrogeno como minimo parcialmente licuado, respectivamente
