REFERIDA A UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA DESCOMPOSICION DE DESECHOS DE POLICARBONATO FABRICADOS A PARTIR DE BISFENOL-A QUE COMPRENDE: a) PREPARAR UNA SOLUCION ALCALINA EN ALCOHOL, LA CUAL CONTIENE METANOL Y ENTRE 1% Y 5% (p/p) DE UN ALCALI TAL COMO HIDROXIDO DE SODIO O HIDROXIDO DE POTASIO, b) COMBINAR LA SOLUCION ALCALINA CON DESECHOS DE POLICARBONATO EN UN REACTOR, DONDE LA PROPORCION DE LA MEZCLA ES DE 1 ML A 5 ML DE SOLUCION ALCALINA POR GRAMO DE DESECHO DE POLICARBONATO, c) CERRAR EL REACTOR CON LA SOLUCION ALCALINA Y COLOCARLO EN UN EQUIPO PROVISTO DE UN GENERADOR DE RADIACION DE MICROONDAS CON UNA FRECUENCIA DE 2455 MHZ, DONDE LA REACCION SE LLEVA A CABO CON AGITACION CONSTANTE A UNA TEMPERATURA ENTRE 90�C Y 150�C Y A UNA PRESION ENTRE 0,1 Y 1,2 MPA POR UN TIEMPO DE ENTRE 3 Y 10 MINUTOS PARA DESCOMPONER EL BISFENOL-A, d) FILTRAR, e) DEJAR REPOSAR LA MEZCLA POR 30 MINUTOS, FILTRAR PARA RECUPERAR EL BISFENOL-A EN ESTADO SOLIDO Y DEJAR SECAR
