SE REFIERE A UN TRATAMIENTO DE SUSPENSION MINERAL ACUOSA QUE COMPRENDE: A) PROPORCIONAR UNA SUSPENSION ACUOSA QUE COMPRENDE AGUA DE SUSPENSION Y COMPONENTES MINERALES SOLIDOS; B) ANADIR A LA SUSPENSION DISPERSADA EN (A) CANTIDADES SUFICIENTES DE UNA DISOLUCION EN AGUA DE UN POLIMERO ANIONICO, QUE ES UN TERPOLIMERO DE DIACRILATO/ACRILAMIDA/ACIDO 2-ACRILAMIDO-2-METILPROPANOSULFONICO(AMPS), DICHO POLIMERO CONTIENE CATIONES MULTIVALENTES, SOLUBLE EN AGUA, REACCIONANDO CON LOS COMPONENTES MINERALES SOLIDOS, RESULTANDO LA SEDIMENTACION DE LOS COMPONENTES MINERALES Y LUEGO FORMA UN PRODUCTO QUE COMPRENDE UN FLOCULO Y AGUA CON UN CONTENIDO DE SOLIDOS REDUCIDO.
