DONDE TANTO UNA PARTE DEL FONDO Y UNA PARED, COMPRENDIDAS EN EL AREA DE FONDO Y UNIDAS UNA CON OTRA, INCLUYEN UNA ESTRUCTURA DE ACERO QUE CONSTITUYE LA SUPERFICIE EXTERIOR Y UN REVESTIMIENTO INTERIOR DE LADRILLOS REFRACTARIOS, ESTANDO LA PARED DEL HORNO DIVIDIDA EN PARTES INFERIOR Y SUPERIOR CON LO CUAL LA ESTRUCTURA DE ACERO DE LA PARTE INFERIOR ES UN ANILLO SEPARADO CONSISTENTE DE PARTES, ESTANDO PROVISTOS EMPALMES FLEXIBLES ENTRE LAS PARTES Y DISPUESTOS PARA EXPANDIRSE. LOS EMPALMES SON POR FRICCION, DE RESORTE O SIMILARES. ELEMENTOS REFRIGERANTES ESTAN PROVISTOS ENTRE LA PARTE INFERIOR DE LA PARED Y EL REVESTIMIENTO INTERIOR. EL METODO INCLUYE: a) DEJAR EXPANDIR LA PARTE ANULAR INFERIOR DE LA PARED, DIVIDIDA EN PARTES EN LA DIRECCION CIRCUNFERENCIAL DEL HORNO, POR MEDIO DE EMPALMES ENTRE LAS PARTES CUANDO EL HORNO ES CALENTADO; b) INSUFLAR AIRE DENTRO DEL SISTEMA DE CANALES; Y, c) DISMINUIR POR ENFRIAMIENTO LA TEMPERATURA DENTRO DE LA CAPA DE LADRILLOS MAS INTERNA DE LA PARTE DEL FONDO DEL HORNO, A UN RANGO ENTRE 650°C Y 800°C, PARA SOLIDIFICAR LAS PARTICULAS DE LA FUSION. UN EMPALME DESLIZABLE ESTA PROVISTO ENTRE LAS PARTES INFERIOR Y SUPERIOR DE LA PARED
