Abstract
DONDE DICHO ANODO INCLUYE UNA SUPERFICIE METALICA QUE CONTIENE COBRE O PLATA, SOBRE LA CUAL SE FORMA UN REVESTIMIENTO BASICO DE CLORURO DE METAL. ADEMAS SE PROPORCIONA UN METODO PARA HACER DICHO ANODO, QUE COMPRENDE: a) TEMPLAR LA SUPERFICIE METALICA DEL ANODO; Y, b) APLICAR UNA SOLUCION QUE CONTIENE HIPOCLORITO, UN MATERIAL QUE CONTIENE HIPOCLORITO O UN PRECURSOR DE ESTE, A LA SUPERFICIE METALICA. TAMBIEN SE PROPORCIONA UN SISTEMA RESISTENTE A LA CORROSION PARA UTILIZAR EN UN MEDIO MARINO, QUE INCLUYE DICHO ANODO CONECTADO ELECTRICAMENTE A LOS COMPONENTES DE METAL BAJO EL AGUA SUCEPTIBLES DE OXIDACION, DONDE EL ANODO TIENE UNA SUPERFICIE EXPUESTA AL AGUA DEL MEDIO MARINO Y LA SUPERFICIE TIENE UN REVESTIMIENTO DE CLORURO DE METALWHERE SUCH ANODE INCLUDES A METALLIC SURFACE CONTAINING COPPER OR SILVER, ON WHICH A BASIC METAL CHLORIDE COATING IS FORMED. ALSO, A METHOD IS PROVIDED TO MAKE SUCH ANODE, WHICH INCLUDES: a) TEMPLATE THE METALLIC SURFACE OF THE ANODE; AND, b) APPLY A SOLUTION CONTAINING HYPOCHLORITE, A MATERIAL CONTAINING HYPOCHLORITE OR A PRECURSOR OF THIS, TO THE METALLIC SURFACE. A CORROSION RESISTANT SYSTEM IS ALSO PROVIDED FOR USE IN A MARINE ENVIRONMENT, INCLUDING SUCH ANODE ELECTRICALLY CONNECTED TO UNDERWATER METAL COMPONENTS SUCCESSIBLE OF OXIDATION, WHERE THE ANODE HAS A SURFACE SURFACE TO THE MIDDLE SEA WATER. A METAL CHLORIDE COATING
