Description
Procédé de fabrication d’engrais organiques à base des larves dé mouchesProcess for manufacturing organic fertilizers based on fly larvae
:The subject of the present invention is the manufacture of organic fertilizers from animal droppings and other organic materials bio-decomposed by high quality fly larvae with or without other compounds for soil amendment and increasing crop productivity. . The invention also relates to the process for manufacturing such a fertilizer. :
Organic fertilizers are. often essential in crops to ensure or improve plant nutrition, as well as the physical, chemical and biological properties of soils.
. .. ... .. .. ... .
. .. . .For several years, African populations south of the Sahara have been subjected to the exclusive use of often inappropriate mineral fertilizers which destroy the structure of the soil and contribute in the long term to the decline in their fertility. This situation contributes to the reduction of producers' income due to the high cost of inputs. Thus, one of the 15 main constraints of agriculture is the constant decline in the level of soil fertility which results in a low level of organic matter in the soil with the consequent decline of. crop productivity levels. Added to this are two other major problems caused by climate change and plant diseases. This concerns the problem of water retention capacity in agricultural soils, caused by intense drought and the problem of management, diseases or parasites of agricultural soil, caused by the destruction of the ecosystem and the structure of the soil. . ... .
.To provide answers to producers' concerns, strategies are implemented to restore the fertility of degraded soils. We can note for 25 purposes of illustration, long or short fallows, mineral manure, mulching with crop residues are technologies popularized towards the rural world for the restoration of the level of soil fertility . Most of these technologies are proving unsuitable today. Although they are implemented, negative nutrient balances have been recorded on cultivated soils. .
.Also other types of technologies use an amendment based on organic fertilizers with or without a combination of mineral fertilizers to improve crop yield. .
. , .Organic fertilizers obtained from animal droppings are known to improve agricultural production and soil quality. Despite the advantages offered by these organic fertilizers, the use of these nitrogen resources continues to be carried out in the least profitable and sometimes polluting mode. Indeed, the application of unstable and immature organic residues to the soil proves to be a source of phytotoxicity and induce anaerobic conditions in the soil with a high production of organic acid. . , .
Furthermore, composting or even vermicomposting also constitute other sources of fertilizer but the disadvantages linked to these technologies remain the cost and the fairly long duration of the process, making it difficult for producers to adopt it.
. . .The aim of the present invention is to remove the constraints of the state of the. technique by proposing an organic fertilizer obtained from animal droppings and other organic matter biodecomposed by high quality fly larvae as a soil amendment and increasing crop productivity.: The invention relates to the process for manufacturing such a fertilizer . As part of the evaluation of the quality of organic residues, the inventor surprisingly realized that fly larvae are a source of protein for food and constitute an excellent agent for biodegrading organic matter. Animal intestines and carcasses, chicken and pig droppings, soy bran, corn bran, sorghum bran, brewers' grains have been mentioned as substrates attracting flies and potentially suitable for fly breeding. production of their larvae. During biodegradation by M. domestica and H. illucens larvae, the temperature of the substrates increased, the pH changed from neutral to alkaline, while their organic carbon, total nitrogen, ammonia and nitrite contents significantly increased. been reduced. The pork substrate, the mixture of chicken and sheep substrates, the. mixture of chicken and beef substrates, mixture of pig and sheep substrates, chicken substrate, corn bran, mixture of soy bran and corn bran and mixture of soy bran with husks corn were suitable for biodegradation by fly larvae and had high nutritional values. In addition, changes in the microbiological structure of substrates caused by fly larvae can help fight bacteria and fungi and therefore obtain good quality compost. Animal droppings treated with fly larvae have a fine texture with a less strong odor and are suitable for use as an organic amendment. . . .
. . . . ..The exponential model Yt= Y0*e -kt better described the decomposition of biodegraded substrates and the mineralization of their nutrients in the soil. The biodegraded substrates decomposed quickly in the soil and their nutrients were quickly released, notably in chicken droppings, the mixture of chicken and pig droppings, the mixture of chicken and cattle droppings, and corn bran. , the mixture of soy bran and corn bran, and in the mixture of soy bran with corn husks. For good vegetable production and sustainable soil management, pig droppings, the mixture of chicken and sheep droppings or chicken droppings biodegraded by fly larvae have been more recommended. . . . . ..
..... ; 5 40 ·· ·· . . ... .. .According to the invention, this objective is achieved in that the substrates derived from animal droppings and. Agro-industrial by-products are biodegraded from fly larvae for approximately ten (10) to fifteen (15) days, in that the droppings from said fly larvae are filtered then mixed with other compounds then. homogenized to form the fertilizer which is the subject of the invention. ..... ; 5 40 ·· ·· . . ... .. .
..... . .; ..... - ...According to another embodiment of the invention, the droppings from the larvae can be used for soil amendment. ..... . .; ..... - ...
: . :'According to another of. embodiment of the invention, the larvae separated from their droppings are packaged in the fresh state or in the dried state. The larvae in the fresh state are used by the breeding of flies to be used for the production of eggs necessary for the production of said larvae. The larvae in the dried state are used as a supplement to the feeding of fish or poultry. : . : '
.According to a particular characteristic of inverition, the organic compounds in addition to the droppings of fly larvae include biochar and natural phosphate. .
... , . .According to another characteristic of the invention, the biochar is obtained in the form of charcoal powder by a system of pyrolysis of plant materials, preferably wood chips, and agricultural residues. The addition of biochar to the droppings of fly larvae makes it possible to correct the acidity of the soil and to retain water for a long time for the plants and also to retain nutrients which will be released by the fertilizers so that after several 15 waterings, it does not leach to infiltrate the water table. ... , . .
According to another characteristic of the invention, the addition of natural phosphate rich in phosphorus allows a better dosage of the product which is the subject of the invention for the needs of the crops.
. : ...... .Thus the organic fertilizer which is the subject of the invention makes it possible to retain water in the soil for crops, to fertilize and increase agricultural yield, to fight against soil pests, to sequester carbon in the soil and reduces the greenhouse gas emissions into the environment. This fertilizer is innovative in that it can be produced in less than a month compared to the composts present in the state of the art which take approximately three to six months to be manufactured. . : ...... .
. _The invention will be better understood with the help of the explanations which follow and examples of implementation. . _

La température moyenne idéale varie entre 30 et 90°C.In accordance with the invention, the flies of the species Musca domestica and Hermetia illucens 30 are placed in an egg-laying chamber, preferably an aviary or an insectarium. The pupae are loaded into the aviary at a temperature.' The emergence of flies begins after the 3rd day of loading and after approximately eight (08) days, the eggs can be harvested. The larvae resulting from the incubation of the eggs are inoculated into a pile of compost from animal droppings. and agro-industrial by-products. Ideally, the droppings are formed from chicken droppings, a: mixture of chicken and pig droppings, a mixture of chicken and beef droppings, corn bran, or a mixture: of its soybean and corn bran, and in the mixture of soybean bran with corn husks. For good vegetable production and for sustainable soil management, pig droppings, a mixture of chicken and sheep droppings or chicken droppings biodegraded 40 by fly larvae are more recommended. The composting duration varies between 10 and 15 days. The ideal average temperature varies between 30 and 90°C.
. .After this composting phase, two by-products can be obtained: the droppings from the fly larvae and the larvae produced. . .
Dans un mode préféré de l’invention, les matières organiques bio décomposées par les larves peu vent être utilisées directement pour l’amendement des cultures. : ; ; In a preferred mode of the invention, the organic organic materials decomposed by the larvae can be used directly for crop amendment. : ; ;
; !In another embodiment of the invention, the residues resulting from the bio-decomposition of organic waste, by. larvae, are mixed with other compounds, preferably biochar and natural phosphate. ; !
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the biochar is obtained in powder form from dried plant biomass. Thus, the materials forming this biomass are obtained from wood shavings and sawdust, and agricultural harvest residues. This biomass is dried for at least 10 days then cut before being subjected to the pyrolysis phase at a temperature between 400 and 700 ° C. The duration of the pyrolysis varies between 50 minutes and 2 hours. The material is then cooled and then crushed before being sieved to obtain the biochar powder. Before being sieved, the ground material thus obtained has a diameter which varies between 0.1 and 1 mm.
The process according to the invention requires a quantity of at least 70% by weight and less than 90% by weight of fly larvae droppings, a quantity of at least 8% by weight and less than 25% by weight of biochar and a quantity of at least 1% and less than 10% by weight of natural phosphate.
. .. ,The mixture of the different components is then sieved to obtain a fertilizer in powder form whose porosity varies between 0.1 and 10 mm. . .. ,
