Description
DESCRIPTIONDESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a fuel briquette obtained essentially from charcoal debris, its method of manufacture and probes of use.
(brevets OAPI N°8717,8758 et 8272 pour ne citer que ceux -là).So far, fuel briquettes obtained from combustible waste such as agricultural residues, household refuse, forest waste and so on are known. (OAPI patents Nos. 8717,8758 and 8272 to name only those).
The processes for manufacturing these briquettes are quite numerous and in this respect the wet or dry processes with or without carbonization of the raw materials used could be mentioned.
The fuel briquettes which result from the application of these processes are presented in different aspects depending on the process used, the composition of the raw material, the shape and the dimensions of the press used for their compaction.
A major disadvantage attached to the use of these types of briquettes is that they burn up quickly leaving almost no possibility of control and adjustment of the speed of combustion except that extinguish the home with a agentextincteur such as the water, sand etc. this can alter the properties of the briquettes when they are used later.
Another disadvantage no less important to emphasize is that these fuel bundles retain less heat and that the distribution of the latter is not uniform in the home. In addition, they are less resistant to shock.
The present invention aims to overcome these disadvantages.
It relates to a method of manufacturing a combustible briquette characterized in that it consists in reducing to fine powder the raw materials essentially consisting of charcoal and clay debris in a weight ratio of 4: 1, to mix them with water and cane molasses in the proportions by weight of 20- 30% water and 15% molasses, to introduce the dough thus obtained into a mold in order to give a shape to the product without it being apply any pressure to dry the product thus formed in the sun or in the open air. The invention also relates to a fuel briquette characterized in that: 1 °) - it contains in addition to the combustible material (Coal) and binder (cane molasses) a clay to improve its retention capacity of heat and its calorific value; 2 °) - it is in the form of a cylindrical block capable of stacking, having holes all around its main axis which allow a uniform distribution of heat in the mass of the combustible briquette and which also give it the possibility of making a setting its burning speed simply by aligning or shifting these holes with those of another or more packages. The combustion takes place to the maximum when the holes are aligned and at least when they are offset. The invention finally relates to a device for using the fuel briquette thus obtained, characterized in that it comprises: a dismountable receptacle or seat of the kettle, a cylindrical combustion chamber insulated inside to reduce losses of heat, a grid on which the briquette rests, a plenum and ash chamber, an adjustable opening air intake slider and an upper combustion chamber closure lid for freezing combustion or turn off the fireplace.

Thus, while providing a solution to the environmental problem posed by the rejection of charcoal debris in nature, the invention constitutes an alternative which makes it possible to reduce and compensate for the enormous losses of material caused during the transport and handling of carbonaceous coals. offering the possibility of recovery and recovery.
From the energy point of view, the briquette obtained by the combination of these means is very economical having a high calorific value compared to charcoal and offering the possibility of adjustment of its combustion rate. Also, the presence of clay in the raw material makes it possible to save fuel and energy by reducing the amount of fuel used, by increasing the heat retention capacity in the fuel mass and by improving its calorific value. In this respect experience shows that 1 kg of briquettes equals 2 kg of charcoal.
Furthermore, the briquette obtained by the process is more resistant to shock, easy to store and handle better for superposition. The invention will be better understood thanks to the following description, which relates to one of the embodiments given here by way of example and explained with reference to the diagrammatic drawings in the appendix in which: FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view forming mold of a combustible bundle; FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the mold for the simultaneous production of 6 fuel briquettes; Figure 3 is a top and cross-sectional view of the fuel briquette; FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of the device for use of a booklet.
According to the invention, the fuel briquette is obtained essentially from the debris of charcoal clay, water and molasses decanne sugar which is mixed in the proportions of 10% clay; 15% decane molasses; 20-30% water depending on the degree of humidity of the coals.
3) - Le moulage :The previously sorted charcoal debris is ground into a fine powder using mechanical grinders. The same for pieces of clay. 21 - Mixing: The operation whose purpose is to ensure better grip of the binder in any group of the mixture is done manually or machine. To the powder of charcoal and clay, water and cane molasses are added in the proportions indicated above. These components are then mixed to form a paste. 3) - The molding:
5 Ο ί Ο 4 8 1 4)- Le séchage :The cavity (b) of the mold (Fig. 1) is filled with the paste from the previous step by an operator. This level the content of the mold by shaving the excess mixture found therein and overturns the mold and then print the guide (a) a translational movement pushing the ejectors (c) completely outside the mold. 5 Ο ί Ο 4 8 1 4) - Drying:
The briquette formed after molding is dried in the sun or in the open air, present as a cylindrical block (FIG 2) of diameter (a) and height (b) 5 having all around its main axis a number of holes (C). Its weight varies between 200g and 5kg depending on the end use.
15The cylindrical shape of the briquette imposes for its use a typical device (FIG 3) of cylindrical shape comprising: a receptacle (a) removable and of varied size, a combustion chamber (b) at four heights to accommodate one to four briquettes , an air intake slider (d) a grate (f) an insulator (g) an ash recovery chamber (h) and a top closure cover not shown. 15
The device is not limited to cylindrical briquettes. It can be exploited with other forms of combustible briquettes as well as with wood and charcoal. The ignition of the hearth is done by the briquette below and once lit, can be put on hold ie standby by closing the slide (d) and placing the cover (i) on the part top of the combustion chamber (b).
