Abstract

accessory for carrying items on a garment includes a pouch and a securing flap. The item is carried in the pouch. The pouch is joined to the securing flap in a bifolding arrangement. The accessory includes one or more magnets along the pouch and the securing flap. The accessory has a flexible spine intermediate the pouch. The magnets magnetically attach the securing flap to the pouch when the pouch and the securing flap are folded together. The spine has a width defined between at least one and typically two parallel stitch lines. The stitch line(s) promote bending of the pouch and/or flap

Claims

What is claimed is:

1. An accessory for carrying items on a t, comprising: a pouch for holding the items; a securing flap; a flexible spine intermediate said pouch and said securing flap, which joins said pouch and said securing flap in a bifolding ement, n said flexible spine is defined by a stitch line; and one or more magnets along at least one of said pouch and said securing flap, said one or more magnets magnetically attaching said securing flap to said pouch when said pouch and said securing flap are folded together, wherein said stitch line promotes folding of said ng flap and/or said pouch.

2. The accessory of claim 1, n said stitch line forms a crease.

3. The accessory according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein both said pouch and securing flap includes the, or each, magnet.

4. The accessory according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the, or each, magnet is captured in one or more closed pockets in at least one of said pouch and said securing flap.

5. The accessory according to claim 4, wherein the, or each, closed pocket is located at a lower corner of said pouch and/or said securing flap.

6. The ory of any one of the preceding claims, which includes a pocket defined by said pouch.

7. The ory of claim 6, wherein said pouch includes a slide fastener for providing access to the pocket defined by said pouch.

8. The accessory of any one of the preceding claims, including a reflective material on an outside of said pouch.

9. The accessory of any one of the preceding claims, wherein said reflective material is fixed to said slide fastener along a length of said slide fastener.

10. The accessory of any one of claims 6 to 9, including one or more internal pockets within said pocket of said pouch, said one or more internal pockets being smaller than said pocket of said pouch.

11. The accessory of any one of the preceding claims, including a headphone cord hole in a panel of said pouch for threading a headphone cord h said panel and into said pocket.

12. The accessory of any one of the preceding claims, wherein said pouch includes one or more layers of a radio wave frequency blocking al.

13. The accessory of any one of the preceding claims, n said pouch includes one or more layers of a hydrophobic material.

14. The accessory of any one of the preceding claims, wherein the ory is formed from a single panel of fabric.
