Abstract

Described herein is a method of controlling fungal plant pathogens or diseases comprising the steps of contacting the vegetation or an area adjacent thereto to prevent the growth of the fungal pathogens or diseases with a fungicidally effective amount of a fungicidal composition comprising: a) a fungicidal compound of the Formula; b) at least one ionic surfactant; c) at least one nonionic surfactant; d) from about 50 g/L to about 700 g/L of benzyl acetate; e) at least one N,N-dialkylcarboxamide; and f) from about 25 g/L to about 150 g/L of at least one organic solvent selected from the group consisting of: cyclohexanone, acetophenone, 2-heptanone, 2-heptanol, oleyl alcohol, and 2-ethylhexanol. gicidal compound of the Formula; b) at least one ionic surfactant; c) at least one nonionic surfactant; d) from about 50 g/L to about 700 g/L of benzyl acetate; e) at least one N,N-dialkylcarboxamide; and f) from about 25 g/L to about 150 g/L of at least one organic solvent selected from the group consisting of: cyclohexanone, acetophenone, 2-heptanone, 2-heptanol, oleyl alcohol, and 2-ethylhexanol.

Claims (22)

CLAIM
1. A method of lling fungal plant pathogens or diseases comprising the steps of contacting the vegetation or an area adjacent thereto to t the growth of the fungal pathogens or diseases with a fungicidally effective amount of a fungicidal composition comprising: a) a fungicidal compound of the Formula or O \ Nu. N b b) at least one ionic surfactant; 0) at least one nonionic surfactant; d) from about 50 g/L to about 700 g/L of benzyl acetate; e) at least one N,N-dialkylcarboxamide; and 0 from about 25 g/L to about 150 g/L of at least one organic solvent selected from the group consisting of: cyclohexanone, acetophenone, 2—heptanone, anol, oleyl alcohol, and 2—ethylhexanol.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the fungicidal composition includes from about 1 gram per liter (g/L) to about 200 g/L of the fungicidal compound of the Formula: 1002210419
3. The method of claim 1 or 2, wherein the fungicidal composition includes from about 1 g/L to about 100 g/L of at least one ionic surfactant, wherein the at least one ionic surfactant includes at least one anionic surfactant.
4. The method of any one of claims 1—3, wherein the fungicidal composition includes from about 1 g/L to about 200 g/L of the at least one nonionic tant.
5. The method of any one of claims 1—4, wherein the fungicidal composition includes from about 300 g/L to about 500 g/L of benzyl acetate.
6. The method of any one of claims 1-5, wherein the fungicidal composition includes from about 25 g/L to about 300 g/L of the at least one N,N-dialkylcarboxamide, wherein the at least one N,N-dialkylcarboxamide includes an N,N~dimethyl fatty acid amide.
7. The method of any one of claims 1-6, wherein the fungicidal composition includes benzyl e, the at least one N,N-dialkylcarboxamide, and the at least one organic solvent together form a water ible organic solvent.
8. The method of any one of claims 1-7, n the weight ratios of benzyl acetate : the at least one alkylcarboxamide : the at least one organic solvent range from about 1-10 : 1-10 : 1—10.
9. The method of any one of claims 1-8, wherein the weight ratios of benzyl acetate : the N,N—dialkylcarboxamide : the at least one organic solvent range from about 4—6 : 1-3 : 1-2.
10. The method of any one of claims 1-9, wherein the at least one N,N-dialkylcarboxamide is selected from a group consisting of methylhexanamide, N,N—dimethyloctanamide, N,N- yldecanamide and N,N-dirnethyldodecanamide.
11. The method of any one of claims 1—10, wherein the at least one organic solvent is selected from a group consisting of acetophenone, cyclohexanone, 2-ethylhexanol and 2- heptanol. 1002210419
12. The method of any one of claims 1-1 1, wherein the water immiscible organic solvent includes benzyl acetate, one or more than one of a fatty acid a1kylcarboxamide and cyclohexanone.
13. The method of any one of claims 1—12, wherein fungicidal composition further comprising at least one additional fungicidal compound.
14. The method of claim 13, wherein the at least one additional fungicidal compound is selected from a group ting of azoxystrobin, bifujunzhi, coumethoxystrobin, coumoxystrobin, dimoxystrobin, enestroburin, enoxastrobin, fenaminstrobin, fenoxystrobin, flufenoxystrobin, trobin,jiaxiangjunzhi, kresoxim—methyl, mandestrobin, metominostrobin, orysastrobin, picoxystrobin, pyraclostrobin, tostrobin, pyraoxystrobin, triclopyricarb, trifloxystrobin, methyl 2-[2-(2,5—dimethylphenyloxymethyl)phenyl] methoxyacrylate, azaconazole, bitertanol, bromuconazole, cyproconazole, difenoconazole, diniconazole, nazole-M, epoxiconazole, fenbuconazole, nconazole, flusilazole, flutriafol, hexaconazole, conazole, ipconazole, metconazole, myclobutanil, oxpoconazole, paclobutrazole, penconazole, propiconazole, prothioconazole, simeconazole, tebuconazole, tetraconazole, triadimefon, triadimenol, triticonazole, uniconazole, imazalil, pefurazoate, prochloraz, triflumizole, pyrimidines, fenarimol, nuarimol, nox, and triforine.
15. The method of claim 13 or 14, wherein the at least one additional fungicidal compound is selected from a group consisting of azoxystrobin, kresoxim-methyl, picoxystrobin, pyraclostrobin, trifloxystrobin, epoxiconazole, onazole, myclobutanil, propiconazole, prothioconazole, and tebuconazole.
16. The method of any one of claims 13-15, wherein the at least one additional fungicidal compound is selected from a group consisting of pyraclostrobin, prothioconazole and propiconazole.
17. The method of any one of claims 1-15, wherein fungicidal composition further comprising an adj uvant that improves the idal mance of the idal composition selected from a group consisting of a non—ionic surfactant, a polyether modified organopolysiloxane and an alkyl phosphonate. 1002210419

The method of any one of claims 1-17, wherein the fungal plant ens include Septorz'a tritici, Puccinia lriticina, Mycosphaerella graminicola, Puccinia triticina, Puccinia striz'formis, Venturia inaequalis, Ustilago maydis, Uncinula necator, Rhynchosporium secalz‘s, Leptosphaeria nodorum, Magnaporthe grisea, Monilz‘niafructicola, Pseudoperonospora cubensis, Pseudocercosporella herpotrichoides, Phakopsora pachyrhizi, Phaeosphaeria nodorum, Blumeria graminis tritici, Blumerz‘a graminis hordei, Erysiphe cichoracearum, Ezysz'phe graamz'nz's, Glomerella Zagenarium, Cercospora beticola, Alternaria solam', Rhizocz‘onia solam', Plasmopara viticola, Phytophthora infestans, Pyricularz'a oryzae, and phora teres.
19. The method of any one of claims 1-18, wherein the fungal plant diseases include cnose, blasts, botrytis, brown rust, r smut, brown rot, downy mildew, fusarium, powdery mildew, rusts, glume blotch, leaf blotch, net blotch, sheath blight, stripe rust, scab, eye spot, leaf spot, early blight, and late blight.
20. The method of any one of claims l-19, wherein the at least one ionic surfactant is an anionic surfactant selected from a group consisting of an alkali, alkaline earth and um salt of an alkylarylsulfonic acid.
21. The method of any one of claims 1-20, n the at least one nonionic surfactant is selected from a group consisting of an alcohol ted EO/PO block mer and an alcohol ethoxylate.
22. The method of any one of claims l-21, wherein the fungicidal composition comprises benzyl acetate, one or more than one of a fatty acid N,N—dialkylcarboxamide, cyclohexanone, and 2-ethylhexanol.
