Abstract
Disclosed is a relocatable power tap (10) for electrical distribution. The relocatable power tap (10) comprises means for surge suppression or surge protection including a metal oxide varistor (12) and a hardened, fire-resistant material (14) enveloping said metal oxide varistor (12). The hardened, fire-resistant material (14) is cement or concrete.
