Abstract

A hand held sanding block with a first and second body portion which are hingedly connected. At least one of the body portions includes a sandpaper retention part fitted to or formed on an inner surface for retaining a portion of a sheet of sandpaper. In use the outer surfaces of the first and second body portions define two or more backing surfaces to the sheet of retained sandpaper.
