Abstract

589704 A sectional folding door (1) for closing a wall opening (2) is disclosed in which the sections (3) lie flat against each other in an open position. The door comprises at least two sheet-like elements (3) that are retained in at least two guide rails (4) by the rollers (8) of a guiding and separating device (6). Each guiding and separating device (6) is comprised, in the closed position, of a lever with a horizontal arm (7a) and a vertical arm (7b). The vertical arm (7b) is retained in an inner running track (5) via a roller (9). An outer guide rod (13a) attached to an upper sheet-like element and an inner guide rod (13b) attached to a lower sheet like element are connected to the horizontal arm (7a) in an articulated manner. The guide rods (13a, 13b) are displaceable along the horizontal arm (7a) in parallel channel-like recesses in the arm (7a). The guiding and separating device (6) allows the sheet-like panels to be guided from a closed position covering the opening to a closed position stacked flat above the opening (2).
