Abstract

Disclosed is a liquid consumption meter comprising a housing (1, 4) with an inlet neck (2) and an outlet neck (3), and a metering cartridge which can be pluggably assembled from two cartridge parts (10, 11). Both cartridge parts have one respective diagonal, circumferential flange (12, 13) in the area of the insertion ends (14, 15) thereof. A sealing ring (5) can be pinched between at least one cartridge part and the housing, in the area of the flanges. For this purpose, the radius (r) of the internal cartridge part (11) in the area of the insertion end (15) thereof is so small that the internal cartridge part can be inserted with little or no effort into the housing, the sealing ring, and the external cartridge part (10). A conical surface section (17) in the insertion zone of the two cartridge parts causes the sealing ring to be pressed harder and harder between the cartridge part and the housing.
