Abstract

The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method for the treatment of wine (15) using ultrasonic technology, and in particular to the introduction of a transducer of an ultrasonic processor (10) into a wine carrying or wine-storage container (14) to thereby remove unwanted contaminates such as deposits, tartrates and residual yeasts or bacteria from wine (15).
