Abstract

A display using a method of displaying an image of variable perceived depth by including one or more partially and substantially parallel transparent imaging screens located in front of and overlapping with a rear imaging screen. The physical images formed are substantially identical in size and alignment but have different luminance to create an image of variable perceived depth.
