Abstract

A method of cultivating aquatic organisms, which comprises retaining a plurality of aquatic organisms on a submerged structure, the structure consisting of at least one first flexible elongate member connected to the ground by ground anchors attached to the two opposite ends thereof and connected to at least one flexible second elongate member by a plurality of connection members and at least one second flexible elongate member being or being provided with at least one upwardly buoyant member, wherein the aquatic organisms are suspended from the second flexible elongate member and the second flexible elongate member is held at an approximately horizontal position above the seabed.
