Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for boring i undergrunn, eksempelvis etter olje eller gass, fra et fartøy ved hjelp av en borkrone som er forbundet med en borstreng og anvendes for boringen, hvor den øvre ende av borstrengen er forbundet gjennom et heiseverk med et boretårn eller boremast som er plassert på fartøyet, hvor helseverket er utstyrt med kopling for fastgjøring på borstrengen og med en fjær- mekanisme for demping av fartøyets bevegelser i forhold til borstrengen som følge av dønning- og bølgeinnvirkning på fartøyet, og borstrengen stort sett omsluttes mellom fartøyet og sjøbunnen av et stigerør som er fastgjort til sjøbunnen, og den øvre ende av borstrengen eller koplingen er fastgjort gjennom en strekkanordning til den øvre ende av stigerøret som derved kan beveges ved hjelp av strekk- anordningen under motvirkning av fjærmekanismen.
