Abstract

Et kontinuerlig komposteringsanlegg (10) er utstyrt med selv- stendige luftesoner (Zl, Z2) slik at luftsirkulasjonen er av- grenset til hver enkelt sone for å unngå overføring av bakte- rier gjennom en komposteringstunnel (12). Der er anordnet en inntaksvifte (46A, 46B) og en avtrekksvifte (48A, 48B) for hver sone, og avsuget gjennom avtrekksviften er gjort sterke- re enn inntakstrykket, slik at gasser ikke perkolerer gjennom tunnelen .(12) . På samme vis blir vann og utvaskete substanser fjernet fra systemet uten kontakt med nedstrøms komposte- ringsavfall. Enhver resirkulering av gass eller utvaskete substanser skjer bare i den sonen de har kommet fra.
