Abstract

Effektstyring av RF-utgangssignaler i et mobilradiokommunikasjonsnett blir beskrevet. En base-sender/mottaker har en tilleggsforsterkermodul (12) tilføyd for å øke effekten av RF-utgangssignalene. En effekt-nivåstyringssløyfe styrer sendeeffekten for sender/mottakeren uten tilleggsforsterkning. Når en tilleggsfor- sterkermodul (12) tilføyes, er sløyfen utvidbar for å styre effekten av det tilleggs- forsterkede RF-signalet som utmates fra tilleggsforsterkermodulen. En node (52, 53) forbinder sender/mottakerens forsterkerkrets (4) og tilleggsforsterker- modulen (12). Noden tillater at et RF-signal leveres fra forsterkerkretsen (4) til til- leggsforsterkermodulen (12) for sending. Noden (52, 53) utgjør også en del av den utvidede effektstyringssløyfen, og tillater at det tilleggsforsterkede signalets detekterte nivå kan føres tilbake til sender/mottakeren.
