Abstract
En fremgangsmåte og anordning for permanent seismisk overvåking av en undergrunnsformasjon ved hjelp av en eller flere seismiske sender/mottaker-sett som hver omfatter en kilde (S); eltk som en vibrator, og elastiske bølgemottakere (R1, R2,..., Rn) slik som geofoner og/eller hydrofoner er beskrevet. En brønn (W) er boret ned i grunnen. Seismiske mottakere (R1 til Rn) er senket ned i denne og koplet til den omgivende formasjon. Brønnens tverrsnitt er utvidet i den øvre del for å danne en kavitet (P) idet den seismiske kilde (S) er presset mot kavitetens vegger. Mottakerne (R) og kilden (S) er forbundet med en utenforliggende signalstyre- og innsamlings-stasjon (ST). Brønnene (W) kan være undersøkelsesbrønner som er boret for eksempel omkring brønner beregnet på produksjon av reservoarer som inneholder fluider eller blandede undersøkelses- og produksjons-brønner. Hver kilde kan også være koplet til en kavitet nær brønnen. De operasjoner som er nødvendige for å sette ut dette utstyret, er forholdsvis enkle, og dekningsområdet for de forskjellige brønnene er redusert, noe som letter deres integrasjon på steder med reservoarproduksjon. Fremgangsmåten og anordningen kan anvendes til overvåkning av for eksempel oljeførende reservoarer eller gasslagringsreservoarer.
