Abstract

Telekoitimunikasjonssystem der lokale terminaler kan bli anropt fra en eller flere sentrale stasjoner ved hjelp av transmisjonsbaner som blir selektert ved hjelp av selekteringsorganer basert på sannsynlighe- ten for gjennomførbarhet. Selektering finner sted ved hjelp av selekteringstabeller på basis av ut- vekslede signaleringsmeldinger som fremskaffes fra, - eller ved hjelp av et svitsjesystem (3); idet andre selekteringstabeller også er mulige, for eksempel på basis av geografisk eller kartografisk informasjon. Til transmisjonsbanene blir det tildelt verdier på basis av tidspunkter for vellykkede eller ikke- vellykkede anrop, og på antall av vellykkede anrop. Under en sesjon blir -det først opprettet et anrop ved hjelp av den trasnmisjonsbane som har den høyes- te verdi (S(ok), S(nok) eller S(re)) i en av selek- teringstabellene (henholdsvis OK, NOK og RC). I til- fellet av blir anropet repetert ved hjelp av en foretrukken transmisjonsbane (PP), og da i en seks- vens av verdiene fra en av selekteringstabellen. Dersom nevnte anrop heller ikke er vellykkede, vil andre transmisjonsbaner bli testet, og da på nytt i en sekvens av verdiene (S(ok), S(nok) eller S(re)) fra en av selekteringstabellene (henholdsvis OK, NOK og RC). Transmisjonsbaner som det har gått en stund siden (for eksempel mindre enn 5 minutter) at det fant sted et ikke-vellykket anrop, blir ikke benyt- tet. Oppfinnelsen kan benyttes, blant annet, for In- marsat, GSM, UMTS og UPT.
