Abstract
An abrasive tool for cutting, drilling, milling or the like, including a diamond grain positioning structure (2) attached to the circumference of a holder (6). A skeleton with open pores (12) in the outer surface thereof is provided in said structure (2) at least in the portion adjacent to said circumference of the holder (6), and said pores preferably occupy at least 30-75 % of the apparent volume of said portion. The average pore diameter is of 100-500 microns, with a maximum of 2 mm, and the holder (6) essentially consists of a metal or alloy (5) filling at least 70 % of said pores (12) and having a melting point higher than the working temperature of the tool and lower than 950 DEG C.
