Abstract

En mobiltelefonadapter (10) for kompatibel kommunikasjon mellom en mobiltelefon (11, 12) og en ekstern anordning for mobiltelefoner, er beskrevet. Mobiltelefonen er enten en analog mobiltelefon (11) med sender og mottager innrettet for å motta og sende analoge signaler eller en digital mobiltelefon (12) med sender og mottager innrettet for å motta og sende digitale signaler. Adapteren (10) har en inngangskontakt (13) som mobiltelefonen (11, 12) tilkobles, en utgangskontakt (14) som den eksterne anordning tilkobles, samt signalbehandlingsutstyr for å omforme de analoge eller digitale sendersignaler fra henholdsvis den analoge eller digitale mobiltelefon (11, 12) som er tilkoblet inngangs- kontakten. De analoge eller digitale sendersignaler omformes til et forhåndsinnstilt signal som avgis på utgangskontakten (14) og som er kompatibelt med den eksterne anordning. Signalbehandlingsutstyret er innrettet for å omforme et signal mottatt fra den eksterne anordning (14) til et forhåndsinnstilt analogt eller digitalt signal som er kompati- belt med mottageren i henholdsvis den analoge eller digitale mobiltelefon (11, 12). Det forhåndsinnstilte analoge eller digitale signal velges fra et antall forhåndsinnstilte signaler som tilsvarer forskjellige signaler knyttet til et antall forskjellige analoge eller digitale mobiltelefoner.
