Abstract

En forbedret ikke-toksisk tennsats som er fri for metalliske oksiderende forbindelser og for hygroskopiske forbindelser som omfatter fra 30-75 vektprosent av minst to perkusjonsfølsomme forbindelser valgt fra en gruppe bestående av en diazo-, en triazo- og en tetrazol-forbindelse blandet med ca. 10-30 vektprosent av en egnet drivladning, og et friksjonsmiddel bestående fortrinnsvis av ca. 12 vektprosent kalsiumsilisid og 8 vektprosent fine glasspartikler. Glasset har fortrinnsvis en partikkelstørrelse som er mindre enn 0,0021 tommer som tilsvarer 53,3 mikrometer. Tennsatsen gir en forbedret antennelse av drivladningen, ikke- toksiske antennelsesprodukter, forbedrede ballistiske data og reduserer antallet feiltenninger kraftig.
