Abstract
Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte for polyme- risasjon eller kopolymerisasjon av minst en monomer som kan polymeriseres eller kopolymeriseres ved den radikale rute i nærvær av en stabil friradikal og en iniferter. Nærværet av den stabile friradikal modifiserer i stor grad oppførselen av iniferteren under polymerisasjonen eller kopolymerisasjonen, slik at uønskede reaksjoner er i stor grad redu- sert. Det er mulig raskt og med et høyt utbytte å polymerisere eller kopolymerisere i nærvær av en iniferter for å resultere i en polymer eller kopo- lymer med en redusert polydispersitet og med en mo- nomodal molekylmassedistribusjon.
