Splinten (2) er utstyrt med et hulrom (8), som defineres av splintens segmenter, for å motta og sikre enden av en kabel. Klemmutteren (3) er utstyrt med et midtre hull (9) som en aksial forlengelse av hulrommet (8) som defineres av splintens segmenter.
