Abstract

Det er beskrevet en rensesystem for å separere faser av en faststoff/væske/væskeblanding innbefattende minst et sylindrisk filterelement innbefattende et filtermedium (125) for fjerning av fast partikkelformig materiale, hvilket filtermedium har et boblepunkt på minst 200 tommer vannsøyle og minst et koaleserelement (120) t innbyrdes avstand fra filtermediet for koalisering av den første væsken til dråper fra en faststoff/væske/væske- blanding, hvilken første væske er helt eller delvis ublandbar i og danner en diskontinu- erlig fase med en andre væske som danner den kontinuerlige fasen til faststoff/væske/ væskeblandingen. Filterelementet (125) kan være avtagbart montert nær koaleser- elementet (120). Det er også beskrevet en fremgangsmåte for separasjon av en faststoff/ væske/væskeblanding i individuelle faser som innbefatter å føre blandingen gjennom minst et filterelement innbefattende et filtermedium med et boblepunkt på minst ca. 200 tommer vannsøyle for å fjerne fast partikkelformig materiale og deretter føre den resulterende væskeblandingen hvorfra fast partikkelformig materiale er fjernet og hvor en første væske er helt eller delvis ublandbar i og danner en diskontinuerlig fase med en andre væske som danner den diskontinuerlige fasen for å koalesere den første væsken til dråper.
