Abstract
En tester (10) for å bestemme tilstanden av en elektrokjemisk kraftkilde, for eksempel et batteri eller hovedcelle (30) er beskrevet. Testeren kan omfatte en elektrolytisk (kolometrisk) celle (20) som er koblet i serie med en hjelpecelle (25). Hjelpecellen (25) er en miniatyrelektrokjemisk kraftcelle. Den elektrolytiske (kolometriske) cellen (20) kan ha ingen egen elektromotorisk kraft og kan omfatte en anode (47) og katode (43) av det samme materialet, ønskelig sølv, med en elektrolytt (45) som inneholder minst en del av både anoden (47) og katoden (43) .
