Abstract

This connector (1) joins a flexible plastic, double-walled supply line (5) to consumers. The line is formed by an inner pipe (51) carrying water; with an outer, empty tube (52) encasing it. The line is laid under rendering, at least. The connector joins directly or indirectly, to a valve feeding the consumer. The connector comprises a basic box section (1) with flange, and a fitting (3) inside. There is a boot or grommet (2) which is pushed over the line (5). A coupling flange at the other end of the boot connects to the flange. The free end of the boot has a shank section (150), with a funnel section between. The boot is made of a dimensionally-stable primary material and has at least one ring segment (251) behind the coupling flange.
